With a huge following, the AMC horror drama “The Walking Dead” is a cultural phenomenon. The show centers around the survivors of a zombie apocalypse. 2. “Breaking Bad.”

AMC’s drug drama, “Breaking Bad,” is another big hit spawned a substantial merchandising franchise. The series follows high school chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston), who turns to make methamphetamine to provide for his family after he discovers he has cancer. He then turns into an Albuquerque-based drug kingpin after his wife dies, and he realizes that he can’t go back to being just another teacher.

Another big success is Downton Abbey, which focuses on the lives of aristocrats in England during World War I and their struggle to survive amidst economic hardship and political upheaval.
