Stephen Schueler was inspired to set big goals at a young age when he had the opportunity to hear Lou Holtz, a famous American Football Coach, speak. Holtz’s speech told the story of how he was fired from his first job, and decided to write a list of 100 goals he wanted to accomplish before he died. Holtz went on to be a huge success and achieved all of his goals including winning the national championship for Football through this roadmap.
When one has been a Marine on the front lines, and a leader of a SWAT team in one of the largest cities in the US, how does one relax? How does one unwind, and decompress? Is it possible to continue to give even more than one has already given? For those who have amassed extensive leadership skills within such high-stress environments, these skills can translate all arenas of life. Thus, the heroic men and women who “do the right thing” on a daily basis serve as mentors to the civilian community, teaching the masses the importance of leadership, mentorship, and building the community spirit.

Jerry Lewis is easily one of the most famous comedians who ever lived. That life came to an end on Sunday when he passed away due to natural causes. Lewis first rose to fame in the 1940s when he teamed up with singer Dean Martin for a very successful series of movies. Martin would play the straight man and Jerry would do all of the wacky comedy. They also performed a nightclub act together. The duo broke up in 1956. This opened the door for Jerry Lewis to show the world that he could shine as a solo performer.
